The black butterfly has often been thought to represent hope, perseverance, and the courage to embrace a life-changing transformation. Welcome to my black butterfly moment..and thank you for allowing me to share “Cirsten in the City” with you.
The dream to start a blog has been on my heart for a long time, but fear kept me from moving forward. Why was I afraid? Well, to sum it up I think it was the fear of judgment, not feeling adequate, feeling too old, and gaining a little weight. You know, the things we convince ourselves are real when they’re not. But even though the idea to get started has come and gone a thousand times, it has never left me. The uncertainty of a lot of things during the pandemic gave me time to think. I promised myself that for the rest of my life, I’ll do all the things that I’ve dreamed of..even if it scares me. So, here we are. I’m walking into uncharted territory and hopeful that you’ll walk with me!
